I’ve been so dang tired lately! Been trying to give myself more rest and relaxation and listening to what my body needs.
It feels somehow therapeutic to draw how I’m feeling and being tired is one of the best times to do it. When I’m tired I don’t really want to draw, but drawing something lazy and tired and droopy and woozy makes it seem a lot more doable! My drawings were quick and loose and not my *favorites*, but that’s what this journey is all about, right? Every drawing can’t be a masterpiece and every week can’t be the Most-Productive-Week-Ever.
Gotta take those little cat naps and chill times when we need them so we can come back stronger than ever. ;)

Week 56 Challenge Winner
Congratulations, Stephanie! Seeing your drawings all together really makes it feel like a cohesive series. Your style is really coming through and I love the simplicity of your characters. It’s so fun to see your different interpretations of a sleepyhead and I especially love your idea of the almost anti-sleepyhead in the “I’m not tired” dancing girl! And of course, awesome job drawing all 7 days! :D
As this week’s winner, Stephanie will receive a brand new artist pen.
